Guest guest
So I saw my doctor for the last time until July 21st when he comes back from vacation...he's coming back a week early. Yippeee!!! My bloodwork came out great. No anemia. I have to come in at least once a week now. Once to see the doctor and also to have a NST and ultrasound to check my fluid levels...I go back again next Tuesday. If everything is fine I won't have to go back until the next week. He offered me amnio at 37 weeks and if the baby is okay a c-section the next day. I told them I'd like to wait and possibly go into labor on my own so I can attempt to VBAC......I don't want to have another c-section when I may be having a tummy tuck sometime in the next 18 months. I did say though that if the baby is in trouble or if there are any doubts just do the c-section ASAP. My doctor said because of my blood condition he will not attempt to let me labor long...If nothing happens within a certain amount of time I am going to be having a c-section. Today the baby was just fine. His heartrate was between 150 and 170 when he was moving all over the place. My fluid levels were fine and I saw his little face again. He is down where he is supposed to be. They did tell me I have big ketones in my urine. The nurse asked if I had eaten today. I had just eaten a hotdog less than an hour before. He doesn't know if this is because of my gastric bypass or maybe some kind of thyroid problem. He said he's going to look into it and then possibly order some tests. He said in the meantime try to eat something small every hour so I won't keep having the low blood sugar attacks..He was not happy I lost another 3 pounds.... So thats all the news.
