,

Just wanted to add my two cents regarding pediasure. Jake has been a

patient of Dr H's for the last three years. The entire time he has

been on Pediasure. After last year's convention I asked her about

taking Jake off of Pediasure since everyone else seemed to be coming

off of it. She said not to do it. She said it didn't bother him and

much less expensive than Peptamen Jr. I should mention Jake is only

on Pediasure at night in his G-tube. During waking hours he eats

normally (three meals plus snacks). He also doesn't appear to have

any GI issues (other than being on zantac).

I know this is pretty much the exact opposite of what everyone else

has been told, but wanted to let you know our experience.

I agree with Jodi, talk to the doctor and see what they say. Since

you are seeing Dr. H at convention, she can help you in this area.
