Guest guest
, We thought that we could go until 's toes were over the edge as many do in the Markells. However, our daughter's feet relapsed and we were discussing a variety of things with Dr. P and . When I mentioned that her toes hung over the edge of her first shoes (she started complaining when we first started wearing the second pair which made me first wonder about relapsing) and Dr. P both said that what what used to be the yellow part must be against the joint where the toe meets the foot (for lack of a better way to describe it). If the joint moves out from there, the shoes aren't doing their job. Does that make sense? Chris shoe question Hi. I was wondering at what point I need to order new shoes for . His big toe is now just at the edge of the shoe. The other toes still have about 1/2 centimeter. Can the toes hang over the edge a bit? Also, I read on someone's entry, that his shoes are being covered by insurance. Please could you tell me more, as these shoes are on the expensive side!! Many thanks, and 6/24/04 bcf s 18/7 __________________________________________________
Guest guest
We had this problem with our second pair. The first never cracked and we now have our third pair which has a changed design so it looks like it won't crack nearly as easily. Our daughters was cracked for a long time and I worried like you did but we survived without incident until we needed to order the next size up. When we talked to he offered to make a new pair as well but since we were so close to changing sizes we decided to just wait it out. We're glad we did. didn't have to rush a pair and things worked out fine. Just for your information, on both shoes all of the little thinner lip had cracked off of all of the front half of the shoes and the larger but still thin lip surrounding the yellow insert on the back half of one show was cracked and just hanging on my a small part however when not pressured, it sat against the bottom of the shoe and didn't appear to be broken if that makes sense. It was just by fluke that we even noticed it was about to break off so who knows how long it lasted that way. Chris shoe question Hi, I know that some of you have experienced this, so I'm hoping you can help. 's shoes have started chipping and cracking. The part that is breaking is the thin black raised part at the back of the shoe. So far, it has not affected the shoe at all, but I don't know how much more can break off without it causing problems. I don't want to order new shoes just yet, because he still has a way to go before outgrowing these ones - the right foot has about 3mm, and the left foot 1mm space at the edge of the shoe. It should last another month or 2. On the other hand, I don't want the shoes to fall apart, and have to wait 3 weeks for another pair. I contactd , and he didn't offer any solutions, but said he would make another pair. Any suggestions?? Thanks, and 6/24/04 bcf s 18/7 __________________________________________________
