Guest guest
he never babbled as a baby. silent. very smart. very good child. can follow directions appropriate for his age and more. gets his point across easily. no tempter, just determined. his 4th cousin was non verbal til 3 years of age. now that child speak well and makes excellent grades in school, 1st grade. my g/son is going for hearing test june 18. I feel certain that its " late talker " . never heard of it til cousin came along. was told that my uncle did not speak til age 4 and then he hid behind the door to call his mother. Nicolas, my grandson can speak clearly (words) when he is excited, such as " pow " when pretending to shoot a bird with his stick gun. uc- ho when he drops something. ma ma when she leaves him unexpecttly. seems if its spontaneous he can say words. but if he has to think it over he cannot. very few words.. less than 10 in his life, but he makes his needs clear at all times with his grunts and his own sign language. he has two brothers age 6 and 13 who are very attentative, he plays with them and laughes and has a good time. im sure they help him tooo much. but.. can you tell me what to expect? judy
