Guest guest
We saw Dr. Harbison yesterday. We are all celebrating because Max has finally made it to FIVE feet! Of course, in the Dr. H. way, she said that was not good enough for her. She then pulled out his recent bone age, checked a chart and said he should at least make it to 5'4, but that she will make sure he gets to 5'6 " . I laughed at her and told her that she should just savor the moment with us, that we were always reaching for that five foot mark by this point and Max had finally made it. She laughed, sort of, and said if she has anything to do with it, he will pass 5'4 " . We continue to have difficulty with granulation tissue. Dr. H. had to cauterize it again, something that did not make Max happy. I told her we are using the TAC Cream and she just grimaced at that. I guess this is something Max will have to deal with for as long as he had the button. We dealt with it for years when he was younger, so nothing much has changed, I guess. Jodi Z. Mom to Max, 15 and RSS, and Jenna, 18 and lucky if we let her make it to 19 - we are counting the days until she goes back to college!
