Eileen,

I hope you don't mind my two cents here regarding gh shots.

Please don't let the thought of a shot sway your decision for or

against gh. It really isn't a big deal (at least in my home). My

son, Jake is almost 4 and has been on the shots (using a short

insulin needle) for one year and we give it to him in his sleep.

Most nights he doesn't even wake up, and if he does he falls back to

sleep in two seconds. He know he gets a shot to help him get " big

and strong. " He has been extremely healthy since beginning the

shots and his muscle tone is much better. He has also gone from

never being on the growth chart for height to being in the 5th

percentile in October. I now brag that he is taller than 4.9% of

the kids his age!!

I know gh is a huge, personal decision. I respect everyone on this

list who does or does not decide to use gh. It is a big commitment

and you will know what is best to do. I just didn't want

the " needle " part to scare you. (It scared me too before Jake

started.)

I wish you all the best in your decision and whatever you decide

will be supported by this group.
