is sick

Dear Everyone,

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all.

I am looking for a few prayers tonight as is sick and we all

know how that goes..... First, the babysitter's baby got this

virus - low-grade fever, vomitting, diahrea. Then, 's sister

got it. Each of them were mildly ill for about 48 hours. ,

of course, has crashed. He has had fever for about 20 hours, not

high, thanks be, but still... He vomits every couple of hours and

is taking only a few ounces of Pedialyte at a time, and that only

every 4-6 hours.....and then he looses some of that. Fortunately, we

have never had a problem with hypo-g, that we know of, but we are

watching. There is a cotton ball in the diaper. It is just so scary

when he is ill. The other kids were up and around when they were

sick. He just lays around, looking awful and loosing weight while we

watch. Someday, I hope he develops some immunity to something and

gets where he will at least drink when he is sick.

Anyway, we are hanging in there and hoping and praying that this will

be a brief illness, if there ever is such a thing with him.

Conny, Great-aunt to , apparently not RSS, but who can tell a

difference! 21 months 21.5 lbs and 31.5 inches, and to Kristel, 9

months old and a moose! She is huge. We will get her measured in a

couple of weeks when she goes in for her 9 month checkup, but I think

she weighs more than he does.
