Guest guest
Hi there, I don't know if any of you will remember me or not, I'm and I have a son who is now 2 years old 19lbs and 2feet tall and i used to post here as we had wondered whether he had RSS. Well his geneticists appontment has finally come thru for this wednesday and I was wondering if anyone had a list of questions that I could print out and take with me to ask the Dr when we see him. Any help would be gratefully recieved. x

Guest guest
Okay, obviously I did something wrong. I was trying to reply to this one and instead just made it seem like I wrote it myself. LOL What I wanted to say is: is finally seeing the Geneticist this Friday, too and I would also love a list of questions. I also wondered if there is anything I should bring. We have been waiting since April or May for this appointment and I don't want to mess it up! LOL Thank you everyone! Guest guest
-Hi I remember you well - a fellow Scot!! Is your appt to confirm the RSS diagnosis? Are you going to Edinburgh for the appt or will you be seen in Inverness? I don;t know about a list of questions - I would just take along a list of reasons why YOU think RSS is an appropriate label and discuss this with the geneticist. We were seen by a geneticist here in Wellington who was not familiar with RSS kids (had never seen one) she looked at Finlay and said he absolutley was NOT RSS - then we met Dr Stanhope (GOSH), Dr Harbison (New York) and later Dr Kellner (Sick Kids Edinburgh) and they all confirmed the RSS diagnosis. Sometimes diagnosing these kids comes from experience rather than theory Anyway good luck and let us know how you get on -- In RSS-Support , " " wrote: > Hi there, > I don't know if any of you will remember me or not, I'm and I > have a son who is now 2 years old 19lbs and 2feet tall and i > used to post here as we had wondered whether he had RSS.
