When my son Christian was in the NICU and I was pumping the dr.s asked me to

think about donating it b/c of the amount that I had. I did not do it, but I

know it is possible. Kudos to you!

Hi all,

I don't know if any of you can help me. I have a ton of breast milk

left over from , and I DO NOT want to throw it away. Shoot, I

worked hard for that!!! :o) I know there are millk banks around,

but from what I see, it seems like a process. Plus, non here in

Ohio. You all know how it is, I have and he demands a lot of

time, and I don't know if I have the time to go through their

process. Does anyone know anything about this? Anyone have any

advice or ideas? Also, how long can you keep breast milk in a deep

freezer?

Thanx,

Jodi R.

breast milk can be kept in a deep freezer for at least 1yr. it is

along shot but sometimes hospitals will take donated milk but i

think it is very rare anymore but worth a try.
