Guest guest Posted December 12, 2003 Report Share Posted December 12, 2003 The only folks we have records of that have said they will talk to others are those who had negative experiences with it. However, I do know that lengthening procedures have improved dramatically in the last 5 years. It is still a very difficult and painful procedure, and most doctors will only recommend it with severe leg length discrepancy (2 inches or more I believe). I am sure that you could find a support group/website on line that may have others who have had this surgery.
