Guest guest
My allergist prescribed Calcium and magnezium for this. Josh get 1000 mg of Calcium per day and we adjusted the magnesium until his stools became soft. This WORKS! If the stools become too soft then cut back on the magnesium. We give Josh this supplement called natural calm. You mix the desired amount with liquid and then I just squirt it in his mouth. Guest guest
--- Jodi, I don't know how much weighs, but n weighs about 20 lb and I give him 5 cc of Milk of Magnesia at bedtime when he's having problems. That alone doesn't do the trick though. I also give him Benefiber 3 times a day, about 1/2 teaspoon. I've tried all the oils and prune juice and other tricks, and Benefiber has definitely worked the best. Also when he has these bouts, it usually takes about 4 days until it clears up. Watching him in pain is horrible!! Cindy

Guest guest
I take stool softeners. The generic version of colace - docusate sodium from Walmart everyday. When that doesn't work I pull out the benefiber....It has zero taste. You mix it with juice or whatever beverage you want. It works really well. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Guest guest
My hemotolgist suggest having a little bit of melon everyday. Especially honeydew. It's seems to be working good for me. I have to take 4 iron supplements a day and havent been constipated so something is working.
