Guest guest
Hi! It's been a very long time since I've written. So, it's likely most of you will not even know our family, but we are in the database. I stopped writing much when my daughter's PDD/ASD issues began to supersede her RSS issues, and also pregnancy and birth of #3. So, here we are she's 6 years old and Dr. H. says we're at the time when a should begin GHT. I have the medication and am awaiting instruction on how to administer the GHT from a homecare nurse. My question is ... how do you know the correct dosage? Is it on the vials? Or, do I need more specific info from Dr. H? Thank you, Diane mom to a, 6, RSS, UPD7, PDD.... etc. 9yrs. and 10 months! Guest guest
Diane, At your last visit with Dr. H she should have given you a yellow sheet that tells you exactly how much medication to administer. I'm not sure what kind of GH you are using but mine comes in a powder form, it is then mixed with a specific amount of water (also provided) and then mixed in an exact method. THis mixed solution lasts us about 2 weeks depending on the doseage. Dr H is very specific about her amounts so you might want to check your paper work from your last appointment. I also think the dosing information is on the individual boxes we receive from Caremark. Hope this helps, Pattie > Hi! It's been a very long time since I've written.
