Guest guest
Judith, I think that Jodi is totally overwhelmed right now. She puts on a good front, but underneath she is scared. Her parents are staying with her - across the street in the Helmsley Towers. She wants them to go home instead of sitting in the hospital, but I told her that she is going to need their support when has the surgery. He is going to look pretty sick for the first couple of days, but he should perk up a bit after that. She will feel better and then they can go home. Jodi is in Room 216, the same room Max was in after he was moved from the monitored room. I'm sure she would not mind if you run over there and visit. I brought her Bill Cosby's new book so she could read short things at a time and, hopefully, get a good laugh. I also brought her a small box of Godiva chocolates for an indulgence. We gave the Pat the Bunny book, the matching rabbit and another board book. He is 17 months, but does not have the strength or coordination to play with toys that are for his age.
