Guest guest
Yes, it's me again with yet another question... My 2 y/o currently gets a multivitamin and Nordic Naturals Children's DHA 100% Arctic Cod Liver Oil. It contains: 313mg of DHA 205mg of EPA 113mg of Other Omega 3 As I read more of the archives, it sounds like I should maybe be giving him Vitamin E along with that? Is this correct? How much should he get? Also anyone giving their child B6, Zinc, Magnesium or Vitamin C? If so, how much? Any other supps worth giving him? He is quite the picky eater so I know he doesn't get as many vitamins as he should in his diet but I also don't want to pump him full of supps either...just looking for a healthy balance! Thanks! Guest guest
I am curious to know what you have read about B6, Zinc, Magnesium or Vitamin C? I was reading about Omega 3 and Omega 6, and it mentioned those vitamins, but I haven't heard much about it on the message board. Here is what I found when I was reading: Having adequate amounts of certain nutrients in the body (including magnesium, zinc, and vitamins C, B3, and B6) helps promote the conversion of GLA to DGLA rather than AA. Guest guest
I give my kids B6, zinc, calcium, magnesium, vit C (500 mg - 1g), carnaware (4 caps/day), EFAs (4 caps/day of omega-brite), probiotics (one cap/day of Klaire Therbiotics - either detox support or complete), vit A (10,000 - 25,000IU/day). Pickiness can be a result of zinc deficiency or high blood ammonia levels (alpha ketoglutaric acid will bring down ammonia levels). > > Yes, it's me again with yet another question... > > My 2 y/o currently gets a multivitamin and Nordic Naturals Children's DHA 100% Arctic Cod Liver Oil.
