Hi Jodi,

I had to fly Janelle to NY on oxygen once. We ended up flying continental

but would not recommend them because we had to fly into Newark. Way too

hard getting to NY in any kind of timely manner.

Another option might be the angel air and others like it.

We had to get special permission to take Janelle's tank to the gate where

the airline oxygen people met us and got us on the plane and situated with

their tank. They take it back after you land at your destination where our

home health provider, PSA, had and office in NY and the surrounding areas

and they met us there and I had to pay them with a check before they gave me

the tank for the day. Then it just worked in reverse going home. I think the

total cost of flying with oxygen came to the dollar amount of an adult

airline ticket. Janelle's pulminologist helped me get this all set up.

Call me and we can talk more about this if you want.
