Guest guest
I'm Liz and I'm s mom for those who don't know. I can't tell you that much about the Medicade but with the SSI I can help some. When I went in to apply for the SSI I brought copies of every admission that he has ever had. I went straight in and talked to a man about s problems. At that time was said to have cogestive heart failure, so that went into the list of problems that he had. I took with me so they could see the problems he had. I told them of the G-tube possibility (at that time) and that he will be very small his entire life. I gave him a verbal list of all his medication and how often he needs them. I told him of the difficulties that had at birth and how long he was in the NICU and his stats at birth. (I think adding in the 1 in 1000000 chance of survival helped too) I also told them of every admission, how long he was in, if he was intibated, and every little detail that would help. For those of you who want SSI for your child, get all copies of records, bring a list of all medication, bring the child and show them the tube (if applicable), tell them all the details you wish you could forget. If anyone wants more info you are more than welcome to call me at or email me at lizco2001@.... I wish you all luck. Liz Mantifel mother to 22 months, 29 in, 19lb 5oz. _________________________________________________________________ Share your photos without swamping your Inbox.
