Storm update (and mom update)

Hi guys,

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the list in a while.

Between my job, training to be a foster parent and being sick, I've

barely had time to breath!

Storm has been doing pretty well. He gained back all the weight he

lost after his surgery, His nasal speech just went away on it's own,

and he sounds like he did before surgery. His growth rate actually

went down a bit after Dr. H reduced his gh, (and the surgery). We

have decided that we will just follow our doctor's recomendations

here for now since we cannot get to NY to see Dr. H. It is just not

financially or any other way possible for us right now. (I do hope

this changes before puberty starts!) So Storm was about 46 " and

44pounds. (the same as in Chicago!) I say about 46 " because they

don't measure as well as Dr. H does!!! (who does!)

I wanted to add, that Storm is seeing a nurse practitioner every

other visit to the Endo, and she has agreed to email Dr. H!!!! I was

quite impressed in how interested she was in what Dr. H had to say!

It gave me some hope!
