June 25-29 and July 16-20 Click here to view the Summer Institute online catalog (PDF) This summer the t Clerc National Deaf Education Center at Gallaudet University is offering professionals who work with deaf and hard of hearing students and families who have deaf and hard of hearing children a series of dynamic workshops and trainings on a variety of topics. Skilled practitioners from the Clerc Center and Gallaudet University will lead each of the workshops and trainings. The strategies featured in each scheduled event support state and national standards and provide access to the general curriculum as mandated by No Child Left Behind. Summer Institute workshops cover a wide variety of topics such as Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Transition, Science and Technology, Family Learning, and more. Many of our workshops fill up early, so we encourage you to register early. Professional studies and training (PST) credits are available for most of the workshops and training sessions.
