Guest guest
, Can we all come over and drop kick your MD's to some other place-- where they can practice on snakes or lizards or alligators. I know, it'd be hard on the lizards-- but they could start on the big ones and work down to the little ones. An underground suite for these MD's would be too good. Well, at least you know now where the blood problem is starting-- that's incredible, I've never heard of it before. I'll have to run that by the oncologist Wed when I go in for my Remicade. I can't imagine what frustration your loss of vision is causing. I know I'd be livid. AAARGHHHHHH!! I so wish I knew some answers for you. Guest guest
, I hope you feel better and better energy wise every day. Second and third, etc., opinions are really worth it sometimes. Sounds like this doc is on the ball. Maybe more opinions or a different eye doc is in order, too. My eyesight is only abit off in one eye, so I can't even imagine what you are going through. My prayers and good thoughts are with you to get some good results for your eyes soon. hugs S. wrote: Geeze, it seems like forever since I've posted.. so here's what's been going on.. Guest guest
, I'm so glad the second hematologist is apparently one of those "top 50% of his class" folks. The eye problems remind us that even those surgeries with excellent safety records can involve complications. I hope your doctors are able to get their act together & find a solution for you. Guest guest
Thank you , I've had different ones of you in the group to tell me to get rid of these idiots.. but me thinking them being a teaching hospital was the way I needed to go.. I've recently talked to other patients and they've all had the same things as I have happen with inadequate care..and just being blown off... Oh, and lets don't forget Dr PrettyPants that would let me "complain" about my shortness of breath, or my chest tightness, or my palipatations, just not on the same visit.. and would only see me once every 3 months.. I do appreciate your encouragement and advise.. Thank you, Hugs -- Re: Where do I begin? , I hope you feel better and better energy wise every day. Guest guest
Thanks Rose, I couldn't agree more.. I was really pleased.. here I thought I had something that couldn't be treated..grrr.. He looked straight into my eyes and told me.."They really should have done that bone marrow at Vanderbilt" I knew it.. but the Hematologist there wouldn't even examine me.. How wrong is that? I don't want to sound paranoid but I think that the Dr PrettyPants had something to do with that.. She was the one that referred me to him.. I just happened to mention it to a RN friend of mine that I use to work with.. and she just happened to be good friends with this Dr.. So, I'm ever so grateful that I have been able to keep up with some of my old friends that I've worked with over the years.. Stella's really been a great friend, and I couldn't have needed her more at this time. Tracie, I will talk to him about the adrenal insuffiency, see what he has to say about that.. Guest guest
, I am so sorry that you have had such a hard time. I pray for you each day, along with the many others that I have in my prayer jug. My brother-In-Law lives in TN and he is sick right now. He has these varices around all of his organs and they bleed with a vengeance. The last time he bled, he was given 63 units of blood. And he has bled about 35 times in his lifetime. They have donors lined up all over the south and western states from North Carolina to Texas and Oklahoma. They cannot find a doctor who will operate on him in his region of TN. That includes Knoxville which is a pretty good sized place with excellent hospitals. They are sending him tonight to Vanderbilt because someone there will operate. It scares me to death. I think I found all the idiots, and I've discarded 2 of them now. but keep me informed and I'll tell ya if he comes up with any of my doctors, good or bad.. Hugs, -- Re: Where do I begin? , I am so sorry that you have had such a hard time. BarbMac Tosh <macandtosh626 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: , you remain in my thoughts and prayers. He says it is possible that I have "chronic illness anemia" but what the bone marrow showed was that I have absolutely "NO" iron in my bone marrow.. Guest guest
Hey Tracie, if it were “way” under ground, that might workJ.
