Guest guest Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 hello about me and my family and why i am here i found this group and i am in the same boat as you all is now but my son is 4 years old hello my name is april i have a 4 year old name mark jr he was all speech delay and i was told thatif he didnt start talking by age 5 that he wont talk at all but guess what he is now talking some thing that he says you cant under stand him but he getting better with talking hes in his 2nd in preschool and he loves it well when he was younger like some of your kids age he had said a few words and then had stop saying any words and he didnt what to wear cloths at all nether he had 3 people comeing out to my house to him until he turned 3 years old and gets speech in school he been haveing nonething but ears problems his hole life and we had him at a ear doctor but he first went there around 2 or so he told us that he was part away deaf in his right ear but we had him at a nother ear doctor after he turned 3 years old and the doctor said his ears were fine and now he 4 years old we have to take him to a nother ear doctor for his ears he had noething but ear problems and his ear drum keep getting big and when he was younger i played music in for him to listen to and he loved it it seemed to com him down hits his head or any thing he not potty train nether we what to potty train him but we was told not to rush that he will on his own when he was younger we taught him signing with our hands i got the dvd of singing time theres is a group of it and he pick it up real good we done singing with him for a over a year or so heres the web site www.signingtime.com and they have the dvd or vcr tapes on there thanks for haveing me and my son here cant wait to start talking to every one on here thanks for haveing me and my son here on your group thank you april / mark jr Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
