A couple of thoughts on the cost of going to the conference...

We went to a medical conference several years ago and were able to get

some help from our state's Governor's Planning Council on Disabilities.

You might check in your states.

Also, some of the costs of attending may be tax deductible, depending on

the circumstances. There are guidlines on this at the IRS web site.

If anyone has other ideas, please add!

Is there anybody planning on attending this conference on August 6-7th??? Just wondering who may be going, where they are staying, what sessions they are panning on attending, etc..... Just curious who I may be meeting this Fall at the conference. My husband, & I , are planning on being there & were wondering who else was planning on going as well. Thanks in advance.

I recieved a brochure in the mail but it is available online at

UMDF.org. I am planning on attending if i can come up with the money

for the hotel.It is pretty expensive! Hope we can get together!

I just looked on UMDF and the hotel is expensive. Plus, being from TX, it would be altogether very expensive to get there. Maybe we can think of something before then. Maybe we will have a diagnosis before then too. It would be nice to meet some of you guys!
