Wow! 2 years in a row you got the medal! You earned it, with all the work

you put into this all year.

You *must* have been tired!

Eeww! Hopefully you have enough desk work to keep you busy and off your

feet.

I think right now your body needs to recuperate and rebuild after that race.

Just avoid the junk and drink your water. I thought we weren't going to

obsess over food right now, as long as we make healthy choices?

If Disney still has it next year. My sources on other lists say the company

is about to have a big shake-up.

Stay out of here and stay with your family. We're not going anywhere and

will be here when you're ready.

Thanks Sue! I'll check in tomorrow night!

I did the thing I feared the most -- excuse me while I cheer.

Now here I stand, a stronger soul -- and all I've lost is fear.

Hi Sue:

I am new here on the list.

> Howdy everyone! I'm back from Disney and have just a few minutes to check

Disney Marathon, that sounds cool. It reminds me of the Avon 3-Day

Breast Cancer walk I did in 2000. The goal was to walk 60 miles in 3

days. I was also pulled at mile 6 & bused to the lunch area. After

lunch I couldn't walk any farther because I was having back problems

from walking so differently because of the blisters on my feet. So I

went to camp early & set up my tent & took a nice long shower. Good

thing because there was a tornado warning & we had to move. But that is

a different story.

I am proud of you for accomplishing this & doing your best. It takes

guts to enter something like that when you are overweight. I know it

almost killed me, I did the walk alone so I wasn't with anyone for

support. When I did migle with other fell walkers, they seemed to be

" skinny minnies " & were speed walking & I just feel behind. But doing

it was a great experience. I wanted to do it this year but I don't have

the money & it is too late to start fundraising now.

Currently I need to start thinking about me first. That was my problem

before, I put everyone & everything first & completely forgot about me.

So once I come down in size I might join the walk again.

Thanks Kimee! I started my first marathon in order to put " me " at the top

of the priority list. And then I fell into the same trap of giving more

than I was getting! Now, I'm trying to pull back and concentrate on myself

and my family (hubby) for a bit...

Hey Everyone,

We got back from our Disney vacation last night. We had an AWESOME

time. We got to meet and her 2 sons (Dakota and Tanner)

got Abby to go on " grown up " rides, that I originally thought

Abby would never go on. Due to the fact that I thought they would be

to over stimulating and in turn scare the bee-geezus out of Abby.

Such as, Big Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Test Track,

Soarin',and Mission Space. I might be missing some others.

When the rides were over, Abby would say, " Lets try it again " . It was

so funny and cute. My husband Steve and I were floored at her

enthusiastic responce to the rides.

Another thing that we all noticed was how Abby took to , like

was an Aunt to Abby, that Abby had known all her life. And

Tanner took to Steve the same way. As if the kids knew the other

parent had experience, knowledge and passion for who they are, and

what they are.

It was very interesting to watchHurleyLuva999 this connection unfold.

Ahhh the magic of Disney, (haha)

As far as Abby's speech, we see a difference. She is saying words and

expressions that we never heard her say before. For example, when we

were driving, my husband said, I'm hungry! My daughter Alyssa

said, " Me too " Abby then said, " ME THREE!!! " We all were in shock and

laughed at the " joke " she made.

Her behaviors were deffinitely off during our vacation. She has been

very hyper, aggressive, and in need of something. Well, unfortunately,

I realized that I had forgotten her fish oils. Luckily when we met w/

she brought us some for Abby. She is better today finally.

However sitting in a car for 16 hours will make any child a little

punchy. All in all, the kids had a great time!

So more Disney trips are in our near future.
