Hi, Jennie,

Alpha lipoic isn't a precursor of glutathione - its a separate antioxidant.

Glutatione is made up of three amino acids; lipoic is a fatty acid.

Recently someone posted here that Cheney says it is the only antioxidant

that doesn't couple to glutathione, and so is a good antioxidant for PWCs

(with depleted glutathione) to take.

Jerry

Thanks Tree!! OMG!! Now the secret is out! To those of you who know me and

know me well, know that at least of one of my missions in life is to convince

the world that KIDS GET ARTHRITIS, TOO! As someone who has been on the JRA

rollercoaster I know the pain, the frustration, the isolation and the

stresses of this monster. I also have learned to smile in the face of

adversity as many of you have and those of you with children, they too will

learn to smile in the face of JRA. I know that may sound ridiculous now but

they will. I have learned determination, compassion, strength, flexibility

(not joint wise of course) and how to let nothing get in my way! JRA has made

me tough!!!! But in a good and positive way. Your children will be OK and

when you think they will not or when the bumps occur you have this group and

we are more than willing to help you! One of my main missions in the JRA

arena is to connect as many people with each other as possible. Together we

can make a difference!

Thanks again Tree! I have climbed securely in my shell for sure now.LOL!!!!!

Donna :-)

Gymmie, stop pulling my arm. I'll give m2 a try tonight. Can't promise I will do

the whole thing as Terry is off of work today.

-Good luck on the ten day diet! You are so brave. I have tried many times

to do different diets such as those (remember my foray in to the Zone Gymmie?)

and I end up buying very expensive groceries and then getting too busy to follow

it and then have the produce go bad. <sigh> I iwsh they made more diets where

you could resuse the same items throughout the week and then next week switch to

something different. Then a itemized grocery list along with price estimates. I

know, I'm anal.

As for the drinking-I find that going into the negative or near it in my

checking account from buying too many exercise DVDs does curtail my beer

bingeing :-) But when I do have the funds I am bad. I know I'd be at leasty

15lbs thinner over a year if I could just not drink period.

Yesterday I played football for 30 min. Did the 20 min Turbo Jam, the gift PX90

Abs (6 min) and 12 min of the Minna Lessig DVD.

Today I did Turbo Sculpt at lunch and my coerced M2 ;-) at night.

I'm trying to decide if I should get Yoga Booty Ballet or the Turbo Jam Max

results with the next amount of moohlah.
