Guest guest
I sure can identify with the frustration of being at a standstill. I remember vividly how hard it was for me when I got to the early 200's I was so proud of myself and then my weight stopped and all around me were people getting to goal and waaaaaaaaay below the 200's, actually " normal weights " in the early 100's. I started at 384 on this journey and so when I got to 200 lbs I had lost 184, and still had at least another 25-35 to lose. SO, I understand. I am at 172 this morning. Tues it was 171 but that is normal for me. As of this week I have officially lost a grand total of 213 lbs. which is where SOME people start. Hang in there and be kind and gentle to yourself. I am living proof that by eating right, MORE weight loss can be obtained, albeit SLOW. It has taken me 18mos to lose 30 lbs thr WW but that includes some up/down occasions. I gained as much as 10 lbs back during the illness and subsequent death of my younger brother last spring/summer. BUT, I got back on track and have done it " my way " which was thr WW. I want to lose to 165 and I " might " be satisfied enough to say I am " there " . Be easy on yourself and find a way that works for you. Guest guest
WOW Cheryl, as I was reading your post I was thinking " gee, sounds like that was written for me!! " I hadn't even looked at the " subject " field! I keep thinking that I am trying sooo hard to be " OK " with this.........but it really isn't working. I am starting to think that it is because of the great " unknown " .....I have never been good at that!! If I KNEW that this was it then I could start to adjust to that....if not then I would work at what adjustments to make. Thanks for the encouragement.......I always wondered if WW would work for posties.........I guess so....... P. P > I sure can identify with the frustration of being at a standstill.
