Guest guest
I've read it to , I don't follow it as it is written but I think I do something similar // same type of idea I guess... in that I use a protein shake before meals particularly if I am REAL hungry or craving carb foods that wouldn't be very good choice... I give it 15 - 20 minutes and then eat. For me, I make better choices when I'm not real hungry. I do use water in the summer because our bodies will send a " hungry " signal to our brains when what we really are is " thirsty " -- I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and summers are long and hot so it is easy to not get enough water in especially on days I spend a great deal of time outside so I do give my body plenty of water first -- I think that is a geographical thing that most of us that live in really hot weather zones have learned to do. Then, if I'm still real hungry, I do a shake, wait and then eat... it takes everyone a while to learn to listen to your body and get a good feel for what it really wants (and I'm not real good at it yet...) so, I get the water and/or the shake first and then a healthy food choice follows much easier. hugz, ~denise )ô( https://www.paypal.com/refer/pal=5ANS6MHB8RHCQ > I've seen several references to " Pouch Rules for Dummies " and I > have read the paper. Guest guest
Oh dear , I have been reading about your trials these last few months and have been totally amazed at how well you are doing. So the food is a little sloppy? Please don't beat yourself up for it. If we all did that because of our lousy food choices, we would all be black and blue. I certainly would. I think that is one of the reasons I kept failing before. I believed I did not deserve to be healthy, happy, skinnier, etc. You are definitely a valued member of this group.
