Guest guest
Vicki, That was really inspiring to read! Thank you for your insite into what REALLY is important in the whole scheme of things. Even though I still have 100 lbs to lose (lost 135 since 6/01) If we can just focus on the health and longevity we will gain by losing the weight at any rate, we are far ahead of the game indeed. Nice to hear these things, makes you want to try that much harder doesn't it? **huggs** Sheila in Windy Chicago =:-) > What is 12 to 60 months in the scheme of a normal (73 to 85 year) > life span? Guest guest
I am glad that I couls make you feel good about what you've gained VS what you've lost! I have had too many friends and live support group people feel like failures after a 10 - 20% regain. I always have to refocus them on whta they have gained! Not amount of beating ourselves up ever made us healthier. I am convinced that learning from " not so hot experiences " rathen than beat ourselves up about them is the key to " going all the way " ! And if we don't go all the way bty the " charts " , we need to see and feel how much we have improved or health and our lives. Of course I want to see everyone make " chart " weights but that ISN'T the meqasure of real success. The real measure id the years and physical possibilities we added to our life! ) Vicki in CA (4+ and loving it!) > > What is 12 to 60 months in the scheme of a normal (73 to 85 year) > > life span?
