Guest guest
Hi All - Something clicked for me today and I realized that I ONLY have 12 weeks until I am on the losing side. For the first time I feel excited and hopeful. I see the healthy and active life I want at the end of the tunnel. This whole process has been so fretful for me. I am a born worrier. Today I am choosing not to obsess as to whether I'll get hassled by my insurance carrier or any other problems that might come my way. Today somehow all I see is how close help is. Only 12 weeks. Only two more major tests to have. Dobutimine stress test and Endoscope. I have chosen a wonderful surgeon. The hospital is great. They do 15-20 procedures a week and have a separate place for RNY patients with specially trained nurses. I just see the blessings and the possibilities today. Just wanted to share my excitment with folks who understand. Jayne Lap RNY 3/12/2004
Guest guest
Jayne, I so happy to hear you excited. You are truly on your way. Best of luck with the tests. It's wonderful to know that your surgeon and the hospital are so good. It makes all the difference. Just think, you'll be on the losing side before Easter!
