Guest guest
Sorry Guys, I should've known that because only 1% of us expereinces a fistula very few of you would have any clue as to what I should ask my surgeon Thursday. I was just hoping out of 2000+ members somebody would have delt with one or is dealing with one shows you how rare it really is. I do talk to Barb in Kansas all the time and we both have the same surgeon go figure. I am curious those that had revisions or SLD's were you able to eat again right after or did you have to start over and for how long just like in the begining or was it a little different? I will let you all know how the appointment goes and what he has to say. I am scared because every surgery I had before was done laprascopically except the spleen. That was only a 6 " incision now we are talking open all the way from sternum to navel. One of my concerns is pain I do have a high tollerence of pain but I am also allergic to demerol and morphine so any one else allergic what did you get for pain? Thanks, Kristy
