Guest guest
I am curious those that had revisions or SLD's were you able to eat again right after or did you have to start over and for how long just like in the begining or was it a little different? *****After the stomach transection, I was supposed to be on liquids again for a short time. I honestly don't remember, but it was a very short time, then soft foods, etc...I mean less than a week, I believe. It was much easier because I already knew my food tolerances (or lack thereof), and wasn't afraid of the unknown like when you're a real newbie. IOW, I already knew there's life after WLS, so it was absolutely NO problem. > pain but I am also allergic to demerol and morphine so any one else > allergic what did you get for pain?<< *****I'm allergic to morphine, too, and I was given something else...maybe Toredol(sp?)? Just be sure to tell the anesthesiologist, and they'll take care of it. I got a scrip for percoset when I went home, my fav. ) I know you're really nervous, but it'll be OK. You just have to get it fixed. Definitely let us know what the doc says. You may be a ground-breaker here, sorry to say. Hugs, in NJ
