Hi ,

Just read your post and I know exactly what you are talking about. I

remember saying after seeing my sister go through her surgery and all the

hernias

she still has that I would rather be fat. I was so scared I said no way am I

gonna tempt fate and take the risk of dying. Well girl when I realized I was

tempting fate every day I knew I had to do something. I have had such a

successful journey thus far and I wouldn't hesitate to do this surgery over as

many

times as I had to do it if necessary to feel as good about myself and as

healthy as I feel at this very moment. I am so much happier now without a doubt.

And

you have to remember for every surgery that has a bad result look at the

surgeries with all the successes. Is life in itself not a gamble anyway? You

don't

ever know what tomorrow will bring so you have to look out for you today. God

Bless you all in your journeys. When the fork in the road is seen, take it,

you might not seen a worn path on it, but farther up you will see all of us

waiting for you with big ole smiles on our faces. That is something else I

wanted

to say to. I remember beingn so very scared and I went into some of the

groups I am on photos and when I saw the pre-op pic and the post-op pics and

those

huge smiles on those faces I knew what I was going to do hands down. Again God
