I will meet with my surgeon next week help me think of questions to ask him!

Hey Guys,

I finally got tired of waiting around I took the iniative to

schedule it. I already have so many questions maybe you can help me

think of more to ask him. I was waiting to see how my grandma was

doing and waiting for my insurance cards to come in the mail. I am

not even sure if he will accept my insurance I hope he will I will

find out though at this appointment next Thursday. If he does I

hope he will work with my concering the remainder the insurance

doesn't cover.

If you are new to this group and don't know me I need to have

surgery to repair a gastro-gastric fistula its not a revision. I

had the lap prox rny 5/21/99 and I am divided and transected so this

is not supposed to happen but to 1% of us and I guess I am that 1%.

Oh and if you must know I have gained back 40lbs and the main reason

for the surgery is for the pain, dumping, and acid reflux I get when

eating anything let me repeat anything!!! But I still eat have cut

down on the sweets you know if everyhting makes me sick then why not

eat what I want for the time being. I am getting back to the gym

and am eating less despite the fact that I am always hungry because

of the fistula the food has two passage ways to empty one via the

bypass and the other due to the fistula and I do not have a SLD

which cause most fistulas to form.

Anyway let the questions rip,
