Anyone here from Dallas/FortWorth area? Anyone heard of Dr. ph

Cribbins or a Dr. Hamn. Also considered a Dr.

Daryl out of Denton but he wanted to charge us 250.00 paperwork

fee and then another 750.00 at final consult for seminar and other books

and stuff they give you above what our insurance pays.. Our insurance

pays 100% so I feel those charges should be included in the fee charged

to the insurance. Anyone else get charged like that when their insurance

pays 100%? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andra

that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Doctors make

their money and to charge for a seminar is utterly insane. We have doctors at

every monthly seminar and they also take it upon themselves to attend our

special meetings where we have other guest speakers. Sounds like someone is

gouging

(SP) the system. Thats the problem with these money hungry doctors now, they

forget about the patient and go straight for their own bank accounts. That

just infuriates me. Alot of us find it hard to have to come up with the extra

money over what the insurance doesn't pay let alone pay for something that

shouldn't even be a charge for. You can separate the doctors that care from the

ones

waving their bank account books everytime! Sheesh I wouldn't give you a plug

nickel for the whole lot of that particular kind of doctor. I hope you find a

better more caring type of WLS doctor...God Bless
