Guest guest
Sharon I wouldn't do that! But it worked!LOL Doesn't it sound great! Well maybe??? Heidi went through so much to get us all back there I don't know whether I have the energy! ) Now for my sister she is doing good. She is still having a lot of pain but it is due to the nature of the surgery and healing. She is so tickled to be able to feel her toes again. That is so neat of course when one of the nerves wakes up that makes it kind of fun! ) We are just both so thankful that she still has them around to tingle! Doctor told her it would take at least 2 months for her to heal. She is beginning to understand why! I got to look at the picture of Logan. He is such a cutie. Sure doesn't look like a new born. Hope you and the family are enjoying him to pieces! Give him a hug for me! Take care and know I think of you often! Lots of Love Glenda Morning Glenda,Is this your sneaky way to get me to post more? I wasgoing to write to you this morning anyway. Woke upthinking about you and your sister and wondered howshe is doing? Hey, I'm all for a west coast reunion, that would be great. It may be slow, but it will be well worth it when she is back to normal! And so happy for you, that you get to attend the reunion. Please, do give a big hug from me. She is so sweet! Glad you got to see Logan's pix. The photographer couldn't get him to open his eyes all the way, just too worn out I guess. He is getting cuter every day, and we all love him to pieces! He has already regained the weight that he lost after his birth. The doctor said that was really fast! Take care of yourself, Glenda, and don't be working too hard. Guest guest
Glenda, So happy to hear the good news about your sister. Prayer is so powerful. Praying your sister continues to improve. Love Ya, Sandy Sharon, With all the goings on I forgot to post about my sister! Ooops!!! I want to thank you all for the answered prayers and good thoughts. My sister had peripheral heart disease which effected the artery to her legs. They were able to do the surgery and correct the problem. After the surgery was completed the Dr. advised us that this surgery was not normally done. Most people who have the blockage that she had usually don't have legs left to route the blood to! God has really been on her side even when she didn't feel like he was! She is doing so well that on her one month check up after the surgery she doesn't need to go back and see him for another month! Dr. is so please with her progress! She was even able to go grocery shopping on her own! That seems like little but before she could hardly walk from the bedroom to the bathroom. Shae is doing great! She is loving school! I hope she does better this year or I may end up pulling her out and home schooling her. She seems to be doing fine so far so we will have to see. She is a real pill sometimes. As far as work goes no they have not upped the Security force as of yet. On Tuesday and Wednesday they did have to close down the crews out in the woods, due to no planes for firewatches after hours. Take care and know I think of you often! She, and you, must be thrilled with her progress. Thanks for sharing with us. Did you get the Register Guard today? It has a great flag to hang in your window. Today Jim, I, and my sister Donna went to a prayer and remembrance service at our church. It was very comforting. They are going to be taking an offering Sunday for a church that was very near to the WTC. Take care and have a good weekend. Talk to you later, Sharon ===== __________________________________________________ Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help? Guest guest
Sharon, We will wish when we talk about the pred. I am so happy for you at any rate. I know how much you have put up with in the last year. Thanks for being out there for me! I would be great if we all could get together again. Lots of Love Glenda Hi again Glenda,I am almost afraid to say anything about being so lowon prednisone. Afraid to jinx things! Silly me!Too bad you didn't click with Dr. H! I think he iswonderful, smart, caring and compassionate and asfunny as can be. Maybe that is why we have clicked sowell! Our senses of humor really seemed to mesh. Hehas helped me so much I can't even begin to tell you!Your blood pressure readings are not good, Glenda. Iknow you know that. Mine got as high as 160/100 whenI was on 20 mg of pred, but have since come back down.I'm still on HCTZ but that is all I take for it. I've always had really low readings, so am hoping thatit comes all the way back down to where it was. Idon't get it though....my mom always had really lowreadings and she had a CVA (bleeding into her brain, astroke). My dad had horrible blood pressure and neverhad anything like that. Go figure!Hope you have a good week and DO NOT GET SHINGLES. That is a horrible thing to have. Guest guest
Sharon, Thanks for sharing this. I have always had to try to explain this to others but still don't think they understand. Maybe this way will make more sense. Hope you are still doing well. How is the newest member of your family doing? I have been thinking about getting a puppy too but mind you only thinking. I have a six year old to keep up with and a puppy is still too much at the moment.LOL How is your newest grand baby doing? We haven't heard much about him lately. Growing like a week I bet!
