Guest guest
Here's the info on Stevia... -sweeter than sugar (just like the artificial ones) -It's a fiber (475MG per packet)Extracted from Stevia leaves -4 packets provides the same fiber as a bowl of whole grain cereal -Improves regularity -Cleanses the colon -Helps produce vitamins -Assists and strengthens the immune system -Supports liver health -Supports the function of the pancreas -Prevents the overgrowth of yeast -Helps control the formation of free radicals (cancer contributors) -Does not adversley affect blood sugar/safe for Diabetics All this info is on the box but my sister (a Clinical Nutritionist) researched intensively and agrees with all of it. She is adamently opposed to chemical sweeteners because of health risks. You can find it in health food stores in a green box. The manufacturer is SWEET LEAF. I made a very large batch of homemade applesauce with my kids the other day and used just one packet of stevia in the whole batch. No one who tried it suspected that there was no sugar - they loved it! 11/18/
Guest guest
You can order Stevia online at http://tinyurl.com/2uufj just search for " stevia herb " and you'll bring up the power and liquid. They have lots of other health stuff too, but I know they have the Stevia.
