Guest guest Posted December 13, 2003 Report Share Posted December 13, 2003 hi kathy. depends on a # of factors:whether your doc " approves " of your bloodwork. he said my hemoglobin was alright. but get this: the 1st time i donated, i felt really run down. the next time, my iron wasn't high enough for the bloodmobile nurses, so i wasn't allowed. from my wls friends & from info @ the graduate group, i think i've given up the idea:-(. as a pre-op i used to donate all the time. some wls folks encourage/remind others to give, so they can still do their part. let us know what your doc tells ya, this is an interesting topic. lori h. 19 grateful months post-op Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
