Just wondering if you buy them, what they are? ....Trader Joe's makes a great soy based meatball (frozen). You may also be able to find similar ones in the health food freezer section of the market. I'm just 2.5 weeks out and can eat these with no problem. I mash them and put just a little sauce and cheese. yum!
Guest guest
, meatballs, they do sound yum. I am stunned and surprised too by the high protein grams. We can all use more more more protein for sure Never thought to check out soy products though and here I am an " old timer " . In retrospect, ....they make protein powders from soy as well. Am wondering why it never occurred to meeeee. Brain freeze most likely.... lol.... Can't wait to try something NEW.... thanks for sharing .... Guest guest
Awesome! Have you had any soy sausages or anything - do the spices or fillers bother you? > > > You mentioned soy meatballs, do you make those or buy them? Have you had any soy sausages or anything - do the spices or fillers bother you? ------- I had a soy hot dog dipped in mustard. Very tatsy. Turkey dogs are OK too. Just be sure to chew, chew, chew! I don't think I'm ready for sausage yet, but will post once I try.
Guest guest
I had a veggie hot dog (just the dog, none of the bread obviously) with a little mustard and low fat mayo for dipping. It was good. and I could easily eat it all...14 grams of protein and little to no fat. > > Awesome!
