Guest guest
Honestly, I replied to a post and sometimes they just do not appear. Ok, I'll try to remember it. Someone was saying something about how lovely weddings are at Disney. I saw this thing on the Travel Channel about the Grand Floridian Hotel that is right by Disney and they have had 15,000 weddings there so far. Amazing. They had this carriage that was drawn by white horses and the carriage was all white wrought iron and just beautiful. Any bride's richest fantasy. So, I think it would be fun to do that as well. I was saying that a person I know from studies that I do (Beth ) said that she had never had a big wedding or big white dress so at her 20th wedding anniversary she bought herself the dress of her dreams and had a wedding portrait done and gave it to her husband as an anniversary present. He cried. Isn't that Nice? Anyway, that's a nice backup plan for those of us whose DH would rather have a root canal than do a second trip down the aisle with the same person, lol. Guest guest
You sent that to me directly, not to the group. The more I think about this, the more I want to start planning my " re-wedding " at Disney. Guest guest
Details, details....isn't that just the way it goes? This is my 3rd marriage. All since WLS. The first lasted 6 weeks. Big mistake. He was a sweet man, but I knew the moment I said, " I do, " that I didn't. The second lasted 10 years. He left me for a fat woman. No joke. But she could (and did, before we even discussed divorce) get pregnant and pass on his wonderful genes. I couldn't. And I think I intimidated the hell out of him. Oh well. God was saving the best for last for me. We've been married 3 years now, and he takes my faults and makes them virtues. Today, I wanted to be lazy. REALLY lazy. Lay in bed and watch soaps lazy. And it was just fine with him. He's off on Fridays. I got up at lunchtime, and made him a couple of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He didn't ask for them, but you'd have thought they were gourmet cooking. He acted like they were just what he'd have asked for if he'd thought about it for awhile. He's my hero. Through and through. Now, I'm going back to bed to watch Dr. Phil solve the world problems. I'm such a spoiled brat. He's taking me out to dinner tonight.
