Guest guest
>>> The closer we get to goal weight the easier it is to lose a size in clothing (ie 10 lbs or so).<<< I don't know... for me, loosing 10 lbs this far out is extremely difficult -- seems like the smaller we get the harder it is to loose and at this point for me another 10 lbs would put me down 2 sizes easily BUT the thing to consider is I would never be able to -- nor would I want to maintain the 10 lb loss right now. I do think about it often I guess because it is just a " Thing " about maintaining -- the mental thing about if I'm not in a " loosing " mode then what am I? Old tapes I know yet they are there and have to be dealt with -- To me it sounds like you really love your dress and it fits well in all the right places so I guess for us (post-ops) it would be a quesiton of do you really want to loose the 10 lbs for good or just for the wedding? Or, for the wedding and then keep them off? -- The old fears of loosing weight for an event like we could do pre-op and then gain it back plus some are very real to us now and just as loosing 10 lbs for me right now would be 2 dress sizes gaining 10 would be 2 dress sizes too so I think you probalby have to look at yourself longer term than just the wedding. Honestly, you sound really pleased with your dress, your wedding, you have a wonderful story of falling in love and while the " size " seems to be a " nagging " thing I don't know ... ask yourself... How important is it? Really? In the whole scheme of things... How important is it? If it is truly important to you then go for it but if it is just the old nagging tapes that you " should " be a size smaller or you " could " if you really made the effort -- if it is any of those " old tape " things I would forget it, LOVE your dress, Love your new partner and LOVE YOURSELF becasue you are beautiful just the way you are!!! You've found a beautiful dress, a beautiful partner and I'm sure you have many exceptionally wonderful feelings right now about the whole experience.... so... how important is it? Only you can answer that and your answer is the only " right " one. luv ya ~denise
