You can do it if you want to, but obviously you don't need to. However -- one of the things that happens to me in high-stress (even high-joy) times is that I find something to obsess about to deflect me from what is really going on. Could that be what you are doing about these last 10 or whatever pounds? Worrying about this so you have a sense of control over the whirlwind of joy that is happening? It's OK if that is what it is.
