Lots of Love Glenda Dear Glenda, I hope I didn't say anything to offend anyone. If I did I wholeheartly apologize. I sure didn't mean to. If you talk to her please tell her. I also know we are all sick now...me too and its very frustrating. Maybe my mood came through my fingers even if it wasn't intentional. The brain is also not on full alert. Guest guest
Dear Glenda, don't think another thing about it. I feel very bad if I said anything to offend anyone. We so much rely on each other and that has to stay that way. I have a size 8 shoe with a 9 mouth sometimes. Guest guest
Dear Cathy, thank you so much for your wishes. I've been on the phone talking to her nursing home and the hospital. They do think she's not dieing and will go back to the home but I just can't get myself to go see her. Maybe tomorrow...I realize she doesn't know the difference if we're their or not but I'm going to feel horrible if I don't see her before she dies. I sobbed like a baby this afternoon but still can't get myself to go. It's kind of funny because my kids say I'm such a " hard ass " but not this time. They tell me I'm the strong one to the point its a bad thing. Sorry to go on...Thanks again...Sue M

Guest guest
Hi Sue, I have such empathy in your situation with your dogs and the whole " when it rains it pours " mess! I have 3 rescue dogs laying on my couch right now and 2 of the 3 have cataracts and need surgery. It is @ $1500 for each dog and then they only fix one eye. One of them is diabetic and I have to give her an insulin shot every day. (yes dogs also get diabetes from being overweight too) The 3rd one (that can see great thankfully) has chronic urinary tract infections. Obviously, it is somewhat costly to keep up with all this but I think that if you help the creatures on this planet that can't help themselves, you will be rewarded some day. I would gladly go broke to take care of them because I am a single person with no children and they are my little family. And during all those miserable 400 + lb days when everyone looked down there nose at me, they loved no matter what I looked like or what I weighed. Well enough rambling, what I am trying to get to is if you have a pay pal account, I would like to send you some money to put towards your vet bills. I know some people on here may frown upon me or think that is inappropriate but I have been in your shoes and if others had pitched in a little, then that could have made the difference for me. If you have a pay pal account, and don't mind, please send me your email address for it if so. If not, it doesn't take a second to set one up. Let me know and I can help you do this. For those of you that might think I should have emailed her privately, I thought about it. BUT, if a few other people pitch in a little bit, then she might have a good chunk of the $s to help her dog. Sorry if I offended anyone... R in Frosty Nashville... Guest guest
Sweetie...you didn't upset me. I was just clarifying a misperception. I sure didn't mean to give you an ass-chewing!!! Tone isn't conveyed. That wasn't the intent of my words, either. I'll have to go back and read what I wrote to see what you thought I was blasting on you. Probably just my nerves being heard through the wires. No, i was just making sure that you understood I hadn't willfully deceived him...I didn't try to pretend I was of normal weight or anything like that. It was just scary...confronting all of these new things...not sure of the repsonse...and having 5 and a half months invested in something that could just POOF disappear upon our first meeting. Fortunately, it hasn't. In all candor, he is not quite as hot as some of his photos...but he is handsome, and sweet and romantic and very very sexy. Very physical, and giving and just great. So, off to Hawaii.... Robynnsue mendez wrote: I am soooooo sorry if I offended you, either I didn't resd carefully or was unwittingly insensitive to you. I feel like after that ass chewing you gave me I've lost a good 10 pounds myself! (smaller ass, always a good thing). I did go back and re-read your post, here is what you said... "The subject of weight never really cameup in the beginning...although with time, I told him I'd be havingsurgery, that I had gained quite a lot of weight in the prior coupleof years, and that the surgery would be changing me a lot.I only sent him face shots...and some older shots." I never ever meant to upset you!!!! I just thought I was being supportive of you and your perception of your "carcass", anytime a person feels bad about themselves, and their appearance it is a sensitive issue. What I meant to convey is that you are such a great person....warm, sensitive, smart, caring, and beautiful, that all people should see is the best of you..... your perception of you is valid only to you, others see you for your incredible self. I hope to return to your good graces at some point, I'm still a little worried that I said something to hurt you and that was NEVER MY INTENT. All the Best, Sue

Guest guest
I'm so glad to hear that the coaches were able to let your son wrestle, even though he hasn't made his goal yet. That's probably going to be a great incentive for him - now he's actually had a taste of what he's working towards, it may help motivate him even more. And he's doing great so far! What a kid! Guest guest
Oh wow ! Another wrestling mom in the works! Good luck to your son! The workout those kids get is extensive! If the coach is anywhere as inspirational and encouraging as the one here you are in for a great year! Wait until you see those boys on the mat!!! Each weight has its own distinct excitement! Those little 103 pounders are fast and sprite, the big boys are so powerful and strong! The middle weights all have degrees in between those two extremes! The booster club should be a great place for you too! They will talk you into helping out and buying their shirts! Once you see how awesome your son feels you won't believe it! You might need a second job though....those lettermens jackets will be pricy!!!!! Lots of patches....but it is all worth it!!!!!!!! get ready for a busy season, tournaments every weekend, and duals on Wednesdays if it's like it is here. Amazing stuff!!!! Oh yeah, don't forget about summercamp!!!! Those wrestling camps are the coolest!!!! I think I told you I grew up in a mess, foster care, bad real parents, I was pregnant at 15 just to get some stability into my life. So, when my boys decided to be athletic, I didn't get it. I was excited but I didn't know what to do. Now, with the baby being a senior I won't know what to do once he's not in sports. I am so glad that I was blessed with the ability to give the kids what I never had, feelings of importance, self worth, good health, and sober parents..... everyday I feel blessed that my bad childhood did not impact their lives. Good Luck wrestle mom!!!!!! ***** Note: head and shoulders shampoo is the perfct body wash....it fights ringworm, 13 years as a wrestle mom and only one worm. Joee loves the bottles Isopure green apple....it tastes like jolly ranchers, kings hawaiian rolls are yummy and nutritious, especially with peanut butter, keep him hydrated!!!!!! Those kids lose a lot of pounds working out and wrestling....Joee loses up to 7 pounds in on day!!!! (hmmmm....maybe I should start wrestling), most wrestles love cool socks!!!! something about getting the other guy to look down at them and catching them off guard....Joee has red and white stripes, ozzy osborn, the game Twister, dogs, bunnies, pink fuzzy....you name it....a Christmas thought. I can't wait to hear about him! He is a freshman right? Hugs! Sue

Hugs! Sue
