Hi all, I am having Lap RNY 12-29-03. I had endoscopy last week it revealed

a small hiatel hernia, what does that mean? I am 5'10 " my goal weight has

been set at 149, does this seem ridiculous to you? When you are on the liquid

diet, do you drink liquid meals and drink 64 oz of liquid? Thanks for the

input. Stef

Stef,

I'm 6', not much taller than you are, with a large frame and my goal

weight (for myself) is 170 but I'll be satisfied with anything under

200....149 does seem awfully low...did you get that from your doctor or

did you set that yourself?

, My Dr's nurse calculated it. I plan on questioning this goal. I was

thinkin that 170 would be good for me. I checked my BMI at that weight and it

is at the low end of normal. I am big boned, (seriously) my wrist has little

fat around it and it is just under 8 inches. Thanks, Stef

hi, i punched in those stats & you'd have a BMi of 21. 175 would give you a BMI

of 25, i think 24.9 is " normal " according to L-rd

knows who..

lori h.

19 " normal " months out
