Dear : for many people, they have take literal steps past thinking/

dreaming about it. Rather

1. force yourself, enstein-walk yourself over and pick up telephone in

a trance, dial the number, and in a weird tone of dreamy voice make

appointment to go where you want to go.

2. pledge money to the endeavor. Mean it.

3. make agreement with another human being, whether to meet them at gym, or

to train together, or however. Mean it.

4. Show up.

5. Befriend someone there.

6. Befriend another person there.

7. repeat 2-7

If this does not turn the key, there is more going on than just boredom,

garden variety resistance, and procrastination, and needs to be looked into

further. introverts sometimes have more trouble doing " public things. "

Extroverts sometimes have more trouble doing solitary things. Sometiems it is

best to go with type; solitary exercise for introerts, extroverted exercise

(dancnig for instance) for extroverts. But, the growth edge for the psyche is

often in doing the opposite of what what superior talent is; you have to

weigh and decide according to what YOU want.

I just very much encourage you to have mercy on your precious body. It cannot

take itself where it needs/wants to without your say so. Bodies LIKE movement

and strengthening and stretching. it is the body's form of recreation and

pleasure and relaxation even if it isn't your ego's idea of a great time.

mercy. That's the ticket

love,

ceep

Have you tried Pro-V 60 (chocolate, of course!) by Labrada? No aftertaste

with this one. And if you go 6 oz instead of 8 oz water, it's thicker than

others, esp if you let it sit a few minutes after shaking it up, before u

drink it. And since I discovered flax seed meal, which I add to the shakes,

it's REALLY great. Lots of grainy texture and adds a hearty flavor as well.

I'm always scraping up the residue in the shaker with a spatula! Oh, I also

add a quarter tsp ground cinnamon most of the time.

" If I go back to normal things

Oh ......I think this is perfectly normal (hopefully Mother Ceep will

have wisdom)......when my Mom died 7 years ago now I remember for a very

long time after thinking that life and people were disrespectful......I

would be at a park with people playing Frisbee, laughing, and all I could

think was....... " don't you know my Mommy just died 8 weeks ago.....you

should all be in mourning!! " " .........Mourning is very tough and very

tricky!!! Best to you honey....... P.

I had the exact same experience. When my mom died suddenly, and young, I

resented people going about their lives, as if the whole world had not

suddenly stopped! I know it was irrational, but I believe a part of grief.

Our worlds do stop for a time, and when others aren't stopping, it doesn't

make sense to the grieving mind.

Well, THAT's a new bit of info I wasn't aware of ! I don't think it's

working in my case, tho, lol. My metabolism is as sluggish as ever, and I

just don't lose anymore. I take it bcuz it's supposed to make your cells more

receptive to insulin (I used to have diabetes - pre-WLS).

There was an article in " Woman's World " a couple of months ago(Nov

12th)......it was all about what herbs or spices boost our metabolisms. I

actually still have it because believe it or not I went out and bought the

expensive nutmeg, ground cloves, and cinnamon.......OK, I was having a weak

moment...... P.
