Guest guest
I, too, have always been complimented on my hard working attitude outside of the house. I can outwork anyone and often do to the point of snickers from other less inclined workers. My laziness only seems to apply at home or when it is for some good for myself. Reading all of your posts has shed great insight on this subject. Fay, I'm sorry you have such memories of your childhood. Being told such a thing at a young age has obviously hurt you and haunted you your whole life. Most of us can relate. I'm so glad you have overcome all of that. We all have baggage but some is heavier than others. Best wishes to you. Donna
Guest guest
OK...I know I am a little behind on this thread, but just wanted to share that I have the same problem.......can do things out of the house.......BUT NO WAY in the house..I think the reason is mostly because I see it as sooo worthless to do all that work and NEVER have it finished...I mean, with a 14,12, 10, and 6 year, and working and homeschooling there is no way that I am ever going to be DONE with cleaning, cooking, laundry......like the saying goes....... " Cleaning while you still have children at home is like shoveling in the middle of a blizzard!! " ........
