Guest guest
Hello everyone! My name is and I just had the surgery on Dec. 2. I am 5'8 and 300lbs on the day of my surgery. There were some complications. I went in on Tuesday, Dec 2 and had surgery at 7:30am. Got out and everything was fine. Only problem was I couldn't keep anything down. I was throwing up everything and was throwing up more than what i was taken in. So i had more x rays and they saw that I had a " kink " in my intestine and went back into surgery Friday night to get it out. Well it's Sunday and I'm back home. Adjusting to living my new life. I was wondering if anyone had any good protein supplement recipes and any suggestions for the first six weeks. Thanks
Guest guest
Listening to your doctor is the key to success, also rest as often as you can...when you are tired, take a nap...and walk, walk, walk...I think resting and walking are what got me thru the first three weeks, after that it was(is) a breeze! I feel great now...and have all kinds of energy! Good luck and best wishes on your journey! Hannah 288/235/??? > Hello everyone! My name is and I just had the surgery on Dec. > 2. Guest guest
, we have something in common! I had the SAME complication! I felt SOOO much better after the 2nd surgery. I couldn't stop throwing up either before it! The way I survived the 1st 6 weeks was that I was able to tolerate milk...none of the actual protein suppliments...so I bought Dairy Glen 1% milk which has 9 grams of protein for 1 cup. It actually works out to the same amount of protein AND calories as those gross protein drinks...but some people can't tolerate milk after surgery. Lot's of luck with everything! RaeShel 373/215/160? Guest guest
RaeShel after you came out of the second surgery did one side of your stomach feel EXTREMELY sore? It's hard for me to sleep because I'm so sore on the left side of my stomach. -t > > Hello everyone! My name is and I just had the surgery on > Dec. > > 2.
