Guest guest
" they could not complete the surgery because of the extensive endometriosis that I did not even know I had. " Kim, I had a laparotomy this past spring, also for endometriosis, although I originally had the surgery to look at the ovarian cyst I've had for a year and also to have a closer look at what was behind the cyst. The surgeon found extensive endometriosis and cleared up as much as he could. I would like to have a baby some day (soon) and my prognosis of doing it on my own (well, with my husband) is low because of the endo. I am a candidate for IVF treatment, otherwise known as having a test tube baby. Like you, I was asymptomatic and was totally surprise when I " came to " from surgery, that I had this. My surgeon explained it this way: endometriosis affects women differently. Some woman can complain alot about cramping and can't go to work, etc. We go in and find just a small amount of endometriosis. Other woman have no symptoms or have small complaints and we go in and find extensive problems. You just can tell. Just because you couldn't judge this pain from the next, don't feel like you have to have it really bad to complain. I think that I have a high treshold for pain myself. I don't know where it came from. I also don't mind needles or blood. ===== When choosing the lesser of two evils, I always like the one I haven't tried. -- Mae West __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Re: 4-2-1 plan Carol, seven bites for me is like a whole piece of sausage and an egg. After a few mins. i feel stuffed. It is like 3/4 of a hamburger patty you cook at home and then three big forkfuls of green beans...i guarantee you that you will feel stuffed after this. I take big bites, as much as i can get on a fork, like how a man would eat. It works and I have always been a big eater. This works because you are eating the meat and veggies and just a bite of the starch whereas before i was eating things like crackers and things that i can munch on all night and never feel full. Just eat 7 huge bites and make sure you eat four bites of the protein first, then two bites of the green veggie second then one big ole bite of fruit for the last bite.
