Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the losing side!!!! My 1st 2 weeks I was on clear liquids. I lived off of chicken broth, s/f jello, s/f popsicles, Apple juice, Proplete Gold protein shakes and water. These 1st 2 weeks are the toughest and it does get better starting at week 3 with the full liquid diet. Hang in there, it will get better. ~H. I would like to hear what everyone else was eating their first and second week post op! Today I actually broke the rules and had a slim fast brand cream chicken soup that I had No trouble with, though I doubt this is enough protein... Help! C. Guest guest
, my diet the 1st week was clear liquids only (juice, tea, water, broth, etc.). The 2nd week was soft foods (cottage cheese, sugar-free pudding, tomato soup, lentil soup, basically foods that you don't have to chew). Joan C, Calif. Guest guest
, My first week post I was allowed only liquids (tea, juice, Gatorade, water, broth) then the next 5 weeks I was allowed creamed soups, malt o meal, cream of wheat, and grits in addition to the liquids. I was not allowed soft foods or anything until I was 7 weeks post op. T.
