Hello my name is Hope and I am from Northern KY. I had gastric bypass

surgery a year ago this past november. I have been part of this group

for sometime now, and I am finally able to post!!! YEAH!!! :) What a

feeling.. I have lost about 150 pounds! And I am thrilled that I can

still lose more! And even have a tummy tuck sometime this year!! :)

Things are really starting to look up for me!! I am glad that we have

this as a tool its been a real lifesaver! And of course it has

changed the way I feel about myself!

I know that this is a dumb question, but is there anything that I can

do for my thinning hair? It seems to come and go. One month I wont

lose any and then the next month it falls out so easily!! What are

some other problems that I might have being so new to this I want to

face any problems I might have head on and see if I cant get help

before they become a " problem "

Well thank you for making this group. And I look forward to being

able to post more and getting to know you all! You all seem so

helpful and friendly!

Take care and keep warm... BURRRRRR

Hope welcome to the group. About the hair loss, try extra protein and

biotin supplements. I have found biotin supplements in the grocery

stores down here in Texas. The protein could be as simple as adding an

additional shake. If I'm not mistaken, and I could be wrong, but lack of

protein can effect hair loss. Until then, try using a conditioner on

your hair. I started using a conditioner and was totally surprised at

how much it lifted up my hair until my other hair could grow back in.

Purely cosmetic but what the heck.
