Thanks Joan,

I love reading your post, you are so positive and always have such

great advice!! It is hard to believe that you are a new " loser " .

Panicked is a good word for how I have been feeling, I have analyzed

and re-analyzed everything that I have put in my mouth, to see if

there was some way I was sabotaging my weight loss. There is no way

with the limited amounts I can eat that I could be getting in enough

calories to maintain my current weight. I guess the frustrating part

is, this is where I normally stop when I have tried losing weight in

the past. I would get to around the 220 mark and bam hit a plateau

that would last for weeks and then I would just give up. Well

needless to say giving up is not an option now (which is GREAT), I

will just wait my body out. At least now I know that I will be the

winner at the end of this wait, versus my body (such as in the

past).

I know that my body must be holding water like crazy, since I have

been unable to get in 64 ozs. I think if I can somehow get myself to

the 64 oz. mark, things might start moving again.

You wrote something interesting the other day. You said that your

doctor does not recommend that you take protein supps. Can you give

me some ideas that your Dr. has given you for getting in protein.

I'm really interested in knowing other ways to get in my protein

daily other than supplementing because I can't get these drinks down,

they taste terrible.

Thanks for your input,

in MI
