Hi All!

I just discovered something with regards to counting carbohydrates.

I had no clue until this very minute. I'm guessing some or all of

you know. But in case you're like me – I thought I'd share.

According to the information on the Low Carb Mall products, to get an

accurate count of the carbohydrates we're consuming we are to; deduct

the grams of dietary fiber from the total carbohydrate grams to get

the `net carb' grams.

Example:

12 grams <- total Carbohydrate

-9 grams <- Dietary Fiber

=3 grams = ECC (Effective Carb Count)

That EEC is our total carb intake per product.

Just thought I'd share with other carb dummies, like me, if there's

any out there.

My husband and I have been watching the carbs in order to eat healthier and

we recently learned this too. In addition to subtracting out the fiber

though, you also subtract the sugar alcohols if they're listed.
