My heart rate is usually somewhere in the 50's. I'm at 25 1/2 months out and

just in the last couple of months I'm NOT constantly freezing anymore or at

least not feeling uncomfortable from the cold. Of course, I am also generally

wearing more clothes than most of the people around me and the not-freezing

only holds true if I'm moving around -which I do a lot more now that I'm 100+

pounds lighter .

I think that the exercise helps me feel warmer because I've noticed that if I

don't exercise for a couple of days the cold does actually start bothering me

again. Two years ago I would never have believed that cold weather would

actually provide me added incentive for exercise. LOL

I just kinda thought that my internal thermostat was finally readjusting to the

change in my personal insulation's R-value.

My weight has been pretty stable (with about a 5 pound range)for about a year

until the last month or so - I've dropped about another 5 - 7 pounds - which is

nice because it means that now my clothes fit the same over the long johns and

undershirts as they did in November before I started having to wear the extra

layers underneath.
